1. What are the placement outcomes for Fellows in your program?
2022-23 was the inaugural year of the CSAP pre-doctoral program so we are still waiting to see what the graduate student placement outcomes will be for our first cohort of pre-doctoral fellows. Pre-doctoral fellows from the Tobin program have had great success in applying to economics graduate programs.
2. Do I need to have majored in political science to apply?
No! We very strongly encourage applications from students who did not major in political science, but have skills and interests relevant to quantitative American politics research, such as a background in data science and statistics. We are interested in applicants who are seeking to prepare for graduate study and employment in political science, policy, and related fields.
