CSAP Grants for Yale Faculty | Center for the Study of American Politics

The Center for the Study of American Politics has a history of supporting research projects and conferences initiated by associate and assistant professors in American politics at Yale University. CSAP funds are available for up to $5,000 for research projects, or up to $5,000 for conferences or other types of events (special lecture, panel, or book events), held at Yale during the 2023-2024 academic year.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are interested in organizing a major conference requiring more significant funding, please contact CSAP Director Greg Huber directly at gregory.huber@yale.edu.

To apply for CSAP small grants to Yale faculty, please submit the online form below and upload a brief proposal (2-3 pages) including a description of your research project or event with itemized budget, and IRB approval if necessary for research involving human subjects. There are no deadlines; grant proposals are considered on a first-come-first-serve basis at any time during the course of the year.
