CSAP Director Alan Gerber and Colleague Barry Nalebuff Use a New Polling Method to Analyze the GOP Presidential Primary Race

November 5, 2015

CSAP Director and Professor of Political Science Alan Gerber recently teamed up with colleague Barry Nalebuff at the Yale School of Management to take a closer look at the prospects for GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson.  Using a new kind of polling method that does a much better job of measuring voter preferences by analyzing pairwise contests, Gerber and Nalebuff found that Ben Carson would be able to beat any of his Republican presidential challengers in a one-on-one contest.

Their article, “Ben Carson, Beating All Comers,” was originally published in The Upshot on October 28, 2015.  The article has been reprinted in its entirety on the ISPS website: LINK HERE.
